Lena shared her end if the year soccer trophy with the class.
The students used their knowledge of nouns, verbs and adjectives to complete one last poetry assignment about themselves. The poems where shared with their families during the end of the year conferences.
Ms. Tipton wants the students to remember to use the dictionary when they are unsure of how to spell a word.

Take a look at all the families that stopped by to celebrate thier child's accomplishments. It was a pleasure to partner with each of you this year. Every student made tremendous growth this year. Thank you all for working with your children.
Each student received a very special end of the year reward. We also recognized ever student individually for their MAP gains. It was so wonderful to share thier academic accomplishments with each of you.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather and ate outside with our special friends and families.
Ms. Tipton wants to remind every student to keep thier skills sharp over the summer. I had lots of materials available for families to take home. Don't forget to journal daily too !
We concluded our first grade year by completing a memories packet.
As my end of the year letter stated , once you are part of Team Tipton you are always a part of me. Stay in touch and please continue to share the small and large accomplishments that your child makes with me. Enjoy your summer break !
