Sparkles slept all during class today. We hope he isn't getting sick too. Our class had 6 children absent today. We missed each them, and hope that everyone is feeling better soon.

Mr. Hornbeck was our guest reader today. We want to send him a very special thank you for stopping by and reading Addie's favorite book to the class. He also stayed and assisted us with our friendly letter to Santa. We are always looking for guest readers. Please contact Ms. Tipton if you can read to the class.
We all used our drafts to complete the friendly letter to Santa. Stop by and read them. They are hanging in the hall.
Take a look at all the students that received Dojo rewards today. Here is a picture of the students that got to eat lunch in the room, got a special juice fruit snack and a special pencil. Congratulations to these students for displaying excellent work and behavioral habits. ( missing from the picture: Andy and Camryn.)
The students are in the hall assisting Ms. Tipton with the needed corrections on our daily hallway question. We had to add commas in a series this week.
During Math we enjoyed Elf subtraction centers.
Alex watched the students and helped if they needed advice on a subtraction strategy .
Today was a great Team meeting. The students are really starting to be able to discuss any problems that they are having with each other. Everyone shares a positive response to the week.
I went ahead and sent the weekly homework home today. I wanted to allow the students extra time to complete the task.
