Trip to Boyd's Orchard

We all made Apple Hats to help prepare for our field trip.

We started off learning about all things that are made from apples.
We all know that without Bees, we wouldn't have apples.  A bee keeper is an important job in an orchard.

Our students listened attentively to the apple presentation.   Be proud of your child.  They all represented Wellington in first class style.

Ask your child to tell you about the hay ride.

Each student picked three apples off of their favorite tree.

We all enjoyed the petting zoo.  Make sure to ask your child to list several animals that they saw on this trip.
They playground was lots of fun!  Many of the children climbed all the way to the top of a VERY TALL Haystack.

They giant slide was a big hit!

We ended our trip taking a few class photos.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE TEAM TIPTON PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS that attended our trip.  The trip was a success due to your support.  I know that each one of you gave of your time today.  We appreciate you all.  You helped make memories for all the children.
