Fire Safety

 

 

 

Each student received a book bag today.  Please help our library keep the book safe from spill and food inside backpacks.  We are asking that all students place their books inside the bag at all times when transporting them to and from school.

 

 

We want to that the Lexington Fire department "Mall Rats" for stopping by and sharing about fire safety with all of the first graders.

 

 Mimi Santalucia shared her PTA reflection entry with the class.  Her story "My Mother" will be entered in the contest.   If you child would like to participate , it's not too late.  Check out the Wellington PTA website for details. 

 Our computer day is now on Tuesday's at 8:45.  Each student will be working at their ability level using a program called  Success Maker.  Take a look at the various different leveled pictures of the computer screens.  No two children are at the exact same spot in the program.  This is a wonderful way for children to be able to further their math skills.  We also use this program in the classroom. 

Don't forget that today is PTA Family night @ Chick Fil A  ( Fayette Mall)  I hope to see some of the Team Tipton families.

I have asked the students to wear their Wellington shirt on our field trip.  It will be chilly in the morning, so please dress your child accordingly.
