We are now on chapter 11 of Charlotte's Web. I am looking for the DVD/movie of the book. Please contact Ms. Tipton is you have a copy that we can watch it upon our completion of the book. We will be finished with the story before spring break.
We learned a clock song today. We discussed the importance of being able to tell time, and we learned about the various types of clocks.
We enjoy singing as part of the learning process. All students learn in different ways. I feel that it is important to introduce them to a variety approaches to learning.
The students should all be able to identify a digital and an analog clock. They should be able to identify the hour and minute hand. Each student has a clock homework assignment that requires them to log their hours of sleep each nigh. The worksheets are due on Friday. We will learn about a.m. and p.m. tomorrow.
