Each child will bring home this attached to their agendas.  Please take the time to fill out the information,.  We hope to not need to dismiss early, but if we do I need to know how to properly contact each family.

As you know, inclement weather is expected tomorrow.  In the event that we arrive at school and early dismissal becomes necessary, I will need to know how you would like for your child to travel home.  Please fill out the bottom of this form and return to school TOMORROW

In the event of an early dismissal,

_______  My child will follow regular dismissal plan.

Maddox Rose is the student of the week.  Congratulate Maddox when you see him.
Students are working on the diphthongs: ou, ow- the sound as in ouch.

Students will not be bringing home a weekly reading assignment this week, because we are preparing a readers theater for Friday.  Ask your child to explain their part in the play.

Ask your child to explain today's penguin project.  Each team of students worked together to draw their penguin to scale.   We incorporated the following art skills: texture, color, line and shape.  We look forward to displaying our work in the hallways for your viewing.
Each team used non-fiction books to add authentic detail, color and shape to their project.

It was amazing to see the children so engaged in the learning process!

Don't forget that we plan on presenting our completed projects on March 6th at 11:15.
( In case we are not in school  on Friday, we will  present  on Monday March 9th at 11:15. )

Mark your calendars now that school will be in session on March 20th.
