We practiced the short e spelling words. Look at how we stretch out the spelling words and then put them all together. This is called the stretchy snake reading strategy. We are learning various strategies to decode unfamiliar words.

Ms. Tipton met one on one with individual students to assess beginning, middle, and ending sounds/ and the number of phonemes in given words. We have been working hard on these skills.

We worked hard on cleaning our individual classroom areas. Mr. Cletis, our custodian,stopped by the room and inspected all the students individual areas. He was very pleased at how clean and tidy the Team Tipton members are keeping their classroom. As a reward we all got to get one item out of the treasure trunk. Ask your child to show you their selection.
