Ethan was one of our guest readers this week.    He shared a non-fictional bug about amazing animals.
Zoey is modeling the BUGZ costume that we will use during our May 13th presentations.  Don't forget to send in a Red shirt before next Friday.
We had a great time working on Author's Purpose.  The students located tests in magazines.  They then shared if the author's purpose was to Persuade, Inform or Entertain.

Brody has  Summer Birthday, so we celebrated it today.   Happy "unbirthday" to Brody.
Make sure you ask your child to explain all the exciting Derby Lessons that we participated in today.  They really liked our pretend probability and statistics math horse lessons.

It was simply amazing watching all the students share their Fictional Writing stories and Toontastic cartoons.  I want to thank every parent and grandparent that attended our presentations today.

We enjoyed a fabulous brunch.  A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that made this brunch possible.   We really enjoyed our special treats!!!

We enjoyed our run for the roses in the bus circle.  Many thanks to Brody's mom for donating the roses.

Congratulations to Jenny for being the fastest girl in the class!

Congratulations to Connor for being the fastest boy in the class!

Then we had a relay horse race!  So much fun!  At the end of the race, everyone received a rose for their teamwork and effort.  Way to go Team Tipton!!
