April 27

Change over time
Look at the plant experiment and ask your child to explain the changes that took place.
Cameron Davenport was the reader of the day.     Congratulation to him on his overall reading progress!
We are watching the super worms and noting changes over time.

Sand is not the best soil to use when planting.  Ask your child to explain what they learned about sand.
Several students took the numbers to 40 retest.  Their new score will replace the past score.   Everyone improved tremendously.

The square math club is working hard on 3 digit addition and subtraction.

The wildcat reading club is about to finish up another chapter book.

Remember to ask you child about their weekly homework.   Every student is working on reading fluency and comprehension.   Don't forget that all weekly homework is due by Friday.

The lanugage skill for the week is verbs.  Past, present and future tense verbs.
Here are the worksheets for the two leveled math home work sheets.
This will be the last week for homework.  We will not have weekly homework in May!
