Students completed an on demand writing prompt on Friday. The students that whispered the code word " place value" in my ear received a drink treat.
Students used a graphic organizer to generate their response to the on demand prompt.
Ms. Tipton shared the writing performance rubic with the students. We use rubrics to assess the student's written performances. This gives the students a clear understanding of what we will be assessing.

Reading clubs read fractured stories today.l. They compared the various versions of each fairytale in small groups.
Students continue to use compass learning as much as possible. Mrs. Tipton has designed instruction based on each individual child's growth goals.
