The Students enjoyed playing the "nouns" head band game. They had to ask questions to try and figure out the noun that they had on their heads. " Is the noun a person?" " Is the noun a place?" " " Is the noun a thing?"
Students played the noun game as part of the daily five center rotations.
Ms. Tipton had a hard time guessing the noun on her head.
Alex got new bedding today. His cage is nice and clean thanks to the pet monitors. Stop by our room and let your child introduce Alex to you.
Alex likes to move around the room and watch students while they work. He can only visit tables when the students are following directions. The students look forward to a visit from him.
Today we played " Spill the Bean." Ask your child to explain how this game helped them practice making addition number bonds up to 10. It will become a future math center. Student will make problems up to 20.
Students worked in pairs to practice their math facts.
We played two rounds of spill the beans. They students drew from sticks to select their new partner. The frog sticks are used on a daily basis by Ms. Tipton. Ask your child to explain how I draw names for answering questions using the sticks. This assures that every child is called on at least 2 times per day.
Kona Ice was a great treat.
We enjoyed hat day. It was wonderful to have everyone in Team Tipton today at school today.m Please try and have your child at school on time each day. We don't want anyone to miss out on any of the learning opportunities that take place each day. Thanks for sharing your children with us!
