Take your family to school day.

We Really Enjoyed having our family members visit our room this morning.  This is Sydney's Grandfather.
 Parker's family stopped by today.

Mimi's dad enjoyed making the Heart Shaped Love penguin with Mimi.

Maya's mom stopped by and brought lots of classroom supplies.  A huge thanks to her for the much needed donations.
Jacob and his mom wrote about why Jacob is loved by his family.
Brody had two grandparents visit our room today.  He shared his penguin research project with them.
Adam's mom and friend enjoyed some together time with Adam.
Nicolas was visited by his mom and  stepdad today.  They brought LOTS of classroom donations today. We especially want to thank them for all the items they donated for other students to use.   We were in desperate need of hand sanitizer, and now we are good to go again.  Thank you so much!

Abby had a special visit from her grandmother today.  It put a smile on Abby's face.

Eber's mom also stopped by to spend some time in our classroom. She watched us learn how to use various standard measurement tools.    Eber was delighted to share this mom with our class.
Map skills are something that the children really enjoy.  In order to located the rain forest habitat- we had to first learn the location of the equator.  Every student should be able to explain why the rain forest habitat is closest to the equator.

Reading clubs are going strong.  Ms. Prather's group is almost finished with another chapter book.

The Tigers are all becoming very fluent readers.
Don't forget that we will have a spelling assessment on Friday. The students all have their word lists written in their agenda's.    Enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
