We are currently studying a math unit on measurement. We are learning to use standardized measurement tools correctly.
We learned that you can often figure out the "shortest ,longest or tallest" without measuring, but to actually know the exact measurement of something.. you have to know how to use a ruler, yardstick, or a tape measure.
