Vision Screening and Ordinal Numbers

We had vision screenings today.
Ms. Ann Thompson is the nurse at Wellington. We appreciate all that she does to help us all stay healthy.

Maya is this week's star student. Congratulate her when you see her.
Mystery Box- Inference lesson.  I gave the students one clue at a time regarding what the box contained.   They made inferences based on the clues.
They each wrote an inference about what they thought was inside the box ,and why they made that inference.
 It was an apple.
We are working on Ordinal Numbers in math.   We like "Hands On Activities" , so ask your child about how we moved around the room.  The 1st person in line was in 3 different positions. It was to illustrate the importance of always knowing where the 1st person in line is located.  Nadeer was the first one in each of the 3 different ways to line up.,

Today we learned about Veteran's Day.  Ms. Prather dressed in full Marine Corp Attire.  Her husband was in the Marines.  A special thank you goes out to Lincoln Nelle's father for serving our country right now.   His name is Andrew Nelle.  He is in the Air force.
