We enjoyed our whole group Monday Reading activities. We enjoy bettering our reading fluency through the use of song and drama. We also acted out a second choral reading activity.
No weekly homework- because the students reached the first two levels of the Boosterthon reward. Tomorrow will be CRAZY HAT DAY. Every student in our room has earned the right to wear a hat tomorrow.
New Spelling Choices are coming home for the month of February. Assessment will be on Friday.We used our research skills to locate facts about groundhogs.
Lily Perkins celebrated her 7th birthday. Congratulate her when you see her.
We earned a class treat. Ms. Tipton is very proud of our class. We are up to $16 per lap. This is the average for the Terrific Tipton's.
Nicholas Epperson located highlights from Super Bowl 49. He shared them with the class. We discussed our previous predictions.
Mr. Counts taught a lesson entitled; " Don't Let Your Snowman have a Meltdown."
Each student was presented with a situation question. They then had to decide if the situation was handled in a good way or a bad choice.
Students added pieces to the snowman for correct responses.
