Working Hard

Ms. Tipton is helping us learn how to break words apart.

 

 Annabelle is working on her book log. 

 We are creating a new photo story, using Mental Images.  It should be complete by Friday.  Ask your child what picture that they illustrated. 

 Mimi shared a book that she received as a gift. It is in Japanese. 

 Parker and Jacob are this week's pet monitors.  Alex is happy to have them taking care of him.

 Ms. Tipton is teaching us a reading strategy each day.  The past two days we have learned how to use Lip the Fish and Wise Ol' Owl.

 Eber and Zoey are playing the "Make a 10" dice roll game. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We learned how to build at "Ten's House" using Popsicle sticks.  Each group of students completed a different problem. This will be one of the new math centers.

 We want to wish a BIG WELCOME to Nadeer Duek.  He joined our class today. 

 

 

Today's  Code Word:  " octopus"   Please have your child tell me the  code word tomorrow. 

The children are making Olive the Octopus.  This will be our assessment of short "o" words.  Thanks to Zoey's family for donating the Cheerios.
