Handwriting Without Tears

 

Ms. Keplinger visited our classroom today.  She helped us learn the correct posture for writing.  

 We learned the correct way to pick up and hold a pencil.   "Chomp, Chomp!!"

We are learning to add by counting on.  We are identifying the largest number and counting up.

 

We continued our lessons on Text Features.  Today we focused on Captions.  Each student wrote the definition of cation, and they designed and shared their own "caption creation."
