We are Rock Hounds

We are studying about Our Earth. We reviewed day/night and the rotation of the earth around the sun.  We acted out our poems.

Here are the poems that we added to our poetry binders.

Eber is the Super Star Student this week.   We all made his pages for his book today.
We are learning about Fairy Tales.  Here is the fairy tale that we listened to on tape.
After we listened to the story we wrote a journal entry from the wolf's prospective.
The Wildcats completed the chapter book Looking for Leprechauns.
We started our study of the earth today.  As your child to define rocks, soil, sand, and natural resources.

Today we learned all about Sedimentary rocks.   They are rocks that are soft, made from sand, clay or broken rocks.  They can be found at the bottom of the ocean and anywhere that the ocean use to cover the land.
